Timms Made has been a dream of Casey and mine (Allison) for a long time but we were never sure the exact way we wanted to execute our business. Casey had been looking into woodworking for years and I stumbled into macrame and fell in love. When Covid hit in 2020 and we were both at home with time on our hands we decided it seemed like the appropriate time to turn our dreams into reality and make Timms Made a real business.
It started with small, unique wood burned items and plant hangers. We still make small items and plant hangers but it has also evolved into wood mosaics, elaborate macrame wall hangings and wood burned macrame shelves.
As a small business, we do our best to purchase as many of our supplies and materials from other small businesses instead of running straight to big box stores. We repurpose as many of our scrap materials as possible, creating new items out of old materials. Sustainability is something we take seriously and we try to promote that in our business. We recycle and make our own boxes and packing materials when shipping and we use biodegradable tape when wrapping boxes. We think about our carbon footprint through every step and do our best to leave as little impact as possible while also leaving a large impact visually in the artwork we create.
